No Mistakes = Big Problem

If you don’t make mistakes, you’re not working on hard enough problems.  And that’s a big mistake!

This was a quote a friend passed on to me recently and it makes good sense when you relate it to being an entrepreneur. Building a business, especially your first one, is a monumental feat. One that comes only with hard work.

Building your business, you’re bound to make mistakes. It’s going to happen. And if it doesn’t, then you are going to fail in the end.

Let me explain this further. If you are able to coast along easily then you will lose. You are not pushing your business to the limits enough. You’re holding back and playing it safe. And the business that plays it safe doesn’t normally win.

So get out there and make a mistake. There’s no map for you to follow, no one there to tell you where to go. You have make your own path and the mistakes you make on the way will grow your business. They will make your business stronger and stronger until you oust your competition.

You never know until you try. Who knows, the biggest mistake you make might cause you to make the best decision for your business after the fact. The biggest takeaway, keep pushing yourself and your business to its limits.
